Los Arcos offers more diversity of tropical life than any other site in the entire bay. Los Arcos is a National Reserve that is protected by the Mexican government, which explains the large population of tropical life. If you are looking for a great and relaxing shallow dive that is sure to provide a ton of sea life, then Los Arcos should be considered.

Within swimming distance of the reef there is a wall, which sharply falls to 800 feet. The beginning of the drop starts at 60 feet giving experienced divers a great wall dive, combined with the deep blue abyss that lies below. At night, Los Arcos is another great option for certified divers. On the menu for the evening is a one-tank dive over the shallow reefs, providing unforgettable encounters with the nocturnal sea life. Discover the most amazing creatures and its rare behaviors that come out at a night dive.

Los Arcos, the most popular Puerto Vallarta scuba destination, boasts its largest and most exiting rock formations at depths ranging from 8 to 20 meters. Explore the shelf and visit Devil's Canyon with its 550 meter drop.

Mid-day, Los Arcos hosts enormous schools of king angels and sergeant majors. For diving at Los Arcos without the crowds, certified divers can try a night dive. Hang-out with lobsters, moray eels and octopus in their bioluminescent playground. Since it is a protected underwater national park, souvenir collecting and fishing are prohibited and the laws are strictly enforced.
