    1. Underwater Sculptural Museum : A huge artificial museum of sculptures is being placed at several dive sites in the area of Cancun, Isla Mujeres and Punta Nizuc.
      1. Barracuda Reef : Barracuda Reef is a rarely visited dive site in the north of Cozumel with plenty of pelagic and excellent reef conditions.
      2. Cantarell Reef : Cantarell Reef is one of the less visited dive sites north of San Miguel, Cozumel.
      3. Chankanaab : Chankanaab is a collection of dive sites inside the Chankanaab Park with plenty of marine species and coral.
        1. Felipe Xicotancatl C-53 : The Cozumel Wreck or Felipe Xicotancatl C-53 is the only wreck dive on Cozumel situated offshore Chankanaab Park.
      4. Columbia : Columbia Wall, Deep and Reef are three dive sites near the entrance of the Columbia Lagoon.
      5. Islote : El Islote is an unpredictable advanced dive site with splendid reefs and numerous fish.
      6. Maracaibo Reef : Maracaibo Reef offers spectacular reef terraces moving outwards of Point Celarain, the most southern point of Cozumel.
      7. Palancar : Diving at the dive sites around Palancar.
        1. Caves : Palancar Caves offers caverns, caves, swimmthroughs, pinnacles with often green and hawksbill turtles present.
        2. Deep : Palancar Deep is the outer reef wall south of horseshoe and the caves.
        3. Gardens : Sights to see at Palancar Gardens include its excellent coral gardens and hogfish cleaning stations.
        4. Horseshoe : Palancar Horseshoe was named because of the U-shaped cut in the reef structure.
      8. Paraiso, Paradise Reef : Paraiso or Paradise Reef is a nice dive site with three ridges nicely covered in coral.
      9. Paso del Cedral : At the patch reef of Paso del Cedral you will find many schools of fish.
      10. Punta Dalila : Dive site Punta Dalila is diving with fish, on top of nice coral and next to a steep drop-off.
      11. Punta Sur, Devil's Throat : Punta Sur is diving in tunnels, caves and caverns, being the largest cave complex in Cozumel.
      12. Punta Tunich : There is some nice coral and marine fish to be investigated while diving at dive site Punta Tunich.
      13. San Francisco, La Francesa : San Francisco Reef is a short shallow wall and reef broken into three sections.
      14. San Juan Reef : Barracuda Wall and San Juan Reef are located near each other and rarely visited because of its rough weather.
      15. Santa Rosa : Tunnels, currents, marine fish and coral species can be spotted while scuba diving Santa Rosa Wall.
      16. Tormentos Reef : Tormentos Reef is a gradually descending coral reef with nice patches of broken coral heads and sand channels.
      17. Villa Blanca Wall : Villa Blanca Wall is a nice steep wall with strong currents opposite the Villa Blanca Hotel.
      18. Yucab Reef : Yucab Reef is a shallow reef with some excellent examples of healthy coral located just north of Cordona Point.
      1. Arcos : Los Arcos is a deep pair of arches covered in sponges, hard and soft corals.
      2. Barracuda : Barracuda is a shallow typical second dive of the day with friendly fish and nice coral.
      3. Cerebros : Cerebros, Spanish for brain, is named after the large examples of brain coral you will dive on.
      4. Chun-Zunbul Reef : Diving at Chun-Zunbul Reef is a dive with plenty of fish and coral.
      5. Inna Reef : Inna Reef is a nice dive site with coral formations and reef fish.
      6. Jardines Reef : Jardines Reef is a typical reef dive with many tropical fish and healthy soft and hard corals.
      7. Mama Viña Wreck : The Mama Viña wreck is a popular artificial scuttled wreck encrusted in coral and surrounded by reef fish.
      8. Moc-Che Deep : Around the wall of Moc-Che Deep you can spot large pelagic and even bull sharks if you are one of the fortunate.
      9. Moc-Che Shallow : Moc-Che Shallow is a very diverse dive site with a tunnel, arch and a lot of flora and fauna.
      10. Pared Verde : Pared Verde is one of the most famous wall dives in Playa del Carmen, Yucatan.
      11. Punta Venado : Dive site Punta Venado can be found after a short 15 minutes boat trip south of Playa del Carmen.
      12. Sabalos Reef : Sabalos Reef is diving in heavy current and shoals of Sabalos, Spanish for Tarpon.
      13. Tortugas Reef : Tortugas Reef is a flat gradually descending slope with large barrel sponges and many sea turtles.
      1. Aktun Ha, Carwash : Aktun Ha or Carwash is particularly known because of its thick white layer during summer resembling a thick fog.
      2. Angelita, Angel : Angelita is a cenote with this great Mayan charm, reached after a short jungle walk.
      3. Calavera, Temple of Doom : At Calavera or Temple of Doom you have to jump three meter fully geared before you can start diving this spectacular cenote.
      4. Chak-Mool, Jaguar Cave : Chac-Mool or Jaguar Cave and Kukulcan have a nice halocline and excellent stalactites.
      5. Dos Ojos, Two Eyes : Dos Ojos is a great cenote dive named after two cenotes close to eachother that are both circular.
      6. Gran Cenote : Gran Cenote is one of the most impressive cave systems in the Mayan Riviera with formations and decoration anywhere.
      7. Ponderosa, El Eden : Ponderosa or El Eden is a great cenote with rocks covered in plants and fish life at the bottom.
      8. Taj Mahal : The Taj Mahal is one of the most beautiful cenotes with exceptional light shows and haloclines.
        1. Arcos : Los Arcos is a very beautiful park covered in tropical flora and fauna with some of the best snorkeling in Puerto Vallarta.
          1. Chimo : In front of the fishing village Chimo, the ocean floor offers many pinnacles rising towards the surface.
            1. Colomitos : Colomitos is one of the best diving sites in Puerto Vallarta with a few manta cleaning stations.
            2. Corbeteña : La Corbeteña or La Piedra is a deep pinnacle with mantas in summer and many sharks in the often strong currents.
            3. Majahuitas : Diving Majahuitas is as brilliant as the famous Los Arcos but quieter and a bit further from Puerto Vallarta.
            4. Marietas Islands : The volcanic islands of Marietas host a scenic and rich underwater world, perfect for scuba diving and snorkeling.
              1. Morro : Dive sites El Morro is diving at an exciting pinnacle with a nice chimney like tunnel.
                1. Sequial : El Sequial is another high thrilling shark and pelagic dive site only for advanced divers.
                1. Cabo Pulmo : Cabo Pulmo and Los Frailes are two small villages that have become great for scuba diving.
                  1. Bajo de los Meros : El Bajo de los Meros is a reef filled with fish and turtles.
                  2. Cantil : El Cantil is diving at a dive site with many caverns and crevices filled with marine life.
                  3. Vencedor : El Vencedor was a large Mexican fishing vessel with many parts littered on the ocean floor creating sanctuaries for fish.
                2. Cabo San Lucas : Los Cabos is a world class touristic destination at the most southern point of Baja California between the towns Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo.
                  1. Anegada : Dive site Anegada is diving near an interesting rock, nice drop-off and small sandfall.
                  2. Land's End, Point : Land's End is a popular snorkeling, glass bottom boat tour with plenty of sea lions and a beautiful arch.
                  3. Neptune's Finger : Pinnacle dive site Neptune's Finger is named after its name wise rock formation just reaching the surface.
                  4. Pelican Rock : Pelican Rock offers scuba diving with all sorts of aquatic life but drop offs and the famous sand falls are also within reach.
                  5. Sand Falls : One of the worlds underwater phenomenons within recreational diving limits are the Sand Falls occuring here near San Lucas.
                3. Gordo Banks : Diving at the Gordo Banks is popular for its large inhabitants such as whale sharks, mantas, marlin, swordfish and hammerheads.
                4. La Paz : La Paz and the islands of Espiritu Santo Island, Los Islotes and La Partida offer excellent dive sites with chances of diving with sea lions.
                  1. Animas : Las Animas is one of the furthest dive sites away from La Paz.
                  2. Bajo, Marisla Seamounts : El Bajo Seamounts or Marisla Seamounts are three separate peaks rising to within diving limits from the surface and attracting animal life.
                  3. Chinese Wreck, Fang Ming : Fang Ming is the name of this Chinese freighter which was scuttled to form an artificial reef.
                  4. Gaviota Wrecks : Isla Gaviota or Seagull Island is home to two wooden ships known as the Gaviota Wrecks.
                  5. Isla Ballena : There are several caves of which some can be surfaced while diving around Isla Ballena.
                  6. Los Islotes : Los Islotes is particularly interesting since it is a popular dive with many wild friendly and playful sea lions.
                  7. Muellecitos, Naked Lady : Los Muellecitos or the Naked Lady is a strong current dive site along the north of Isla Espiritu Santo which frequent large pelagic.
                  8. Reina : The small reef of La Reina used to be popular for mantas located just north of Cerralvo Island.
                  9. Salvatiera Wreck : The Salvatierra Wreck used to be a cargo ferry that sank when it hit Swanee Rock in 1976.
                1. El Zacatón : A dive in El Zacatón Sinkhole is for experienced divers only as it is the deepest water filled sinkhole in the world.
                2. Guadalupe Island : Shark cage diving within the protected marine reserve Guadalupe Islands, Mexico.
                3. Holbox Island : Holbox Island is slowly becoming the whale sharks diving capital of Mexico.
                4. Socorro Islands : A few uninhabited volcanic islands named Socorro Islands offer excellent diving located at more than 300km southwest of San Lucas.
