The Gordo Banks rate among the prime dive sites in the Los Cabos / San Lucas area. Eight miles off the coast of San Jose Del Cabo, the top of this seamount lies under 35meters of water. This is an advanced dive, only for the most experienced divers, due to the depth and currents that sometimes occur. Plenty of action in the first few feet of the water column, whirlpools of jacks, scores of schooling hammerheads, solitary bull sharks, manta rays and even the huge whale sharks encountered by fortunate divers. All of our dive tours include 3000 psi aluminum tanks, weights, boat, bilingual certified dive master, refreshments and a natural history narration by one of our specially-trained naturalists.
