Las Animas is a small island located east of San Jose Island, with three tiny islets around it. It is a great dive spot for summer months, often visited by sharks and large pelagics throughout the year. You will find sea fans and tropical fish everywhere. Since it is far from la Paz, many dive shops charge extra money and only go out if there are a certain amount of divers wanting to visit this spot.
